The Study Modules & Takeaways
There were five different weekly modules. These included:
- Expansion
- Leadership
- Marketing
- Financials
- Business Planning
We had to take part in partnerships with other businesses and design certain projects for that business. Then we would present it to the group. We learned how to identify if your business is healthy or not, business life cycles, and where your business is in the life cycle. In addition, we created pitches to present to our colleagues about financing options, how to acquire new talent, and more.
We learned about the Z score (this score identifies if a business will go bankrupt) and J curves (how you should expect ROI when you implement something new). There was different panelists from banking and finance to SEO and mentorship. The course was comprehensive and very valuable. The biggest takeaway was the importance of the relationships you have with people. This is why we will continue to focus on building strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients and our team.
